ADMINISTRATIVE FEE FOR ARBITRATIONS AND MEDIATIONS:

$150/per party/per day

HOURLY RATE FOR ARBITRATOR OR MEDIATIOR:

$200/per hour

Please note there is a 4-hour minimum charge for all arbitrations and mediations. Likewise, the hourly fee is the same for any additional time spent on document review, research, written findings of fact/law, and other outside time, if any, necessary to prepare and/or make an informed evaluation. 

TRAVEL TIME:

Maya Simmons Rogers is available to travel for arbitrations and mediations. A fee of $100.00 per hour for travel time will be billed for hearings outside of the metro Atlanta area (Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett Counties). Parties will be billed at cost for said expenses if overnight travel or airfare is required. A 6-hour minimum hearing charge is required for out-of-town arbitrations and mediations. 

PAYMENT POLICIES:

All charges will be shared equally among all parties, unless otherwise agreed in writing. However, the expense of participants for either side is to be paid by the party requesting the attendance of said participants.

Our contract for services is with the attorney(s) and/or pro se parties. A deposit of $550 is due at the time of initiation.  Simmons Rogers, LLC will bill the attorney(s) and/or pro se parties any additional fees following the conclusion of the arbitration or mediation. All fees must be paid in full within 30 days of billing. A finance charge of 2.00% per month (24% per year) will be charged on balances due over 30 days.   

CANCELLATIONS:

A cancellation fee of $250.00, in addition to any arbitrator or mediator time and charges incurred, will be billed if a matter submitted for arbitration or mediation is withdrawn, cancelled, or results in a settlement after the agreement to arbitrate or mediate is filed but is prior to the actual arbitration or mediation.
